Here is an easy breadcrumb recipe. I used a week old loaf of Italian bread, but you can use whatever you have.
If you don’t have any Italian seasoning, you can substitute with the ingredients that make it (don’t worry if you are missing some); basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, thyme and garlic.

Serves: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of old bread (14oz)
- 4 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cut the loaf into 1" cubes
- Preheat oven to 300. Spread out bread cubes onto baking pan and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes. Add to food processor and pulse until desired crumb size.
- Add breadcrumbs to a bowl along with Italian seasoning and salt.
- Store in air tight container for up to 3 weeks.
